NANAIMO LIONS CLUB EMPIRE DAYS PARADE

The Nanaimo Empire days parade started in 1867 making it the oldest annual parade in Western Canada. The Nanaimo Lions Club took over sponsorship of the parade in recent years to ensure its continued part in the Annual Celebration that takes place on the Sunday preceding the Victoria Day Holiday.
